With great excitement, let us celebrate Selawoe Aku Sika Ayetor, a 23-year-old Ghanaian who graduated with a master’s degree in Business from Accra Business School in Ghana. She received seven awards and certificates for being the best student in her class, which earned her a standing ovation from her peers and professors.

She posted her achievement on her Instagram account, saying that it was a proof of God’s grace.

She said that she overcame the difficulties of coming from a broken home and having emotional scars and experiences beyond her age, by being resilient and hardworking.

”I want to be seen as that imperfect 23-year-old from a broken home with a lot of emotional scars and beyond-age experience, but a resilient heart.
I choose to put in the work regardless,” she said.

She revealed that she enrolled in the program without knowing how to pay her fees, because she had no job or money, but she took a leap of faith.

”A year ago I did not even know how I was going to pay my fees because I was just done with my NSS and I had no job neither did I have any money but I took a leap of faith,” she said.

She said that she made a lot of sacrifices and prioritized her education, even though it was not easy. ”Those bridges were the hardest to cross because that’s where the principle of sacrifice and priority comes to play,” she said.

She urged others to be determined and believe in themselves, saying that nothing is impossible if they set their mind to it. Selawoe also completed her bachelor’s degree with first class honors at the University of Ghana.

She received the best student awards in Vendor and service management, Technology integration, Strategy process and Leadership, Research methods, Dissertation Innovation management and overall best student.
