Ghanaian afropop star Kuami Eugene recently looked back fondly on a pivotal promise he made to his mother as a child.
In an interview on Class 91.3 FM’s Class Drive, Kuami Eugene revealed how he assured his mom he would transform their lives by the time he turned 25 years old. Remarkably, he achieved that goal by age 19 once his music career took off.
“I’m proud of myself, even though I’m still not there,” the singer reflected.
From a young age, Kuami Eugene was fixated on setting goals and dreaming big. He devoted himself fully to honing his craft and acquiring as much knowledge as possible about music production.
The hard work clearly paid dividends, with Kuami scoring hit after hit across Ghana. But for him, the greatest accomplishment was being able to support his family and provide a better life through his artistry.
