Menzgold CEO Nana Appiah Mensah Files GHC1,000,000 Defamation Lawsuit Against Journalist Bridget Otoo Over Fraud Allegations

Nana Appiah Mensah, the CEO of Menzgold, has filed a defamation lawsuit against journalist Bridget Otoo, seeking GHC1,000,000 in damages. Otoo has been vocal in accusing Mensah of defrauding Ghanaians through his business.

In the lawsuit, Mensah claims that Otoo's social media post, made while his criminal case was pending, falsely accused him of being a fraudster and scammer. He argues that these allegations have damaged his reputation and caused harm to his character.

Mensah is seeking damages for defamation, as well as a permanent injunction to prevent Otoo from making further defamatory statements. He also wants Otoo to publicly apologize and remove the offending posts from her social media platforms.

This legal action comes amidst ongoing controversy surrounding Mensah and his business dealings. The outcome of this lawsuit could have significant implications for both parties involved.
