World Record-Winning Chefs Hilda Baci and Alan Fisher Set the Culinary Bar High


Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, took to social media to extend her congratulations to Irish chef Alan Fisher for his remarkable feat in setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. Fisher, the owner and chef of a restaurant in Japan, surpassed the previous record held by Baci herself.

Clocking in an astounding time of 119 hours and 57 minutes, Fisher secured the title for the longest cooking marathon (individual), surpassing the previous record by over 24 hours. Additionally, Fisher also claimed the title for the longest baking marathon (individual), with a time of 47 hours and 21 minutes, exceeding the previous record held by Wendy Sandner from the USA.
Taking to Twitter, Hilda Baci expressed her admiration for Fisher's accomplishment, stating, "Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!"
